Anxiety and stress can often manifest itself as painful muscles and headaches. We clench our jaw, furrow our brow, and hunch our posture for hours on end, our tension building in response to stress triggers from the world around us.

We begin by demystifying the neuroscience behind stress; how it can impact us physically as well as emotionally, and how we can harness our neurochemistry to relieve tension and feel better. We then work through various solution focused exercises and techniques to support a shift in focus away from what is causing tension and towards the strengths and resources you have to draw on to feel better in body and mind. Finally, we can introduce meditative techniques to lower anxiety, reduce tension, support relaxation and allow for more productive sleep so that you can continue to heal and feel better beyond the session.
